My vision is to become a leading provider of clean energy and a major player in the utilization of alternative energy resources. My objective is to take this project nationwide, converting 100,000 vehicles and preventing the emission of 78,000 tons of CO2 by 2014. We are aiming to become a pioneer for sustainable community development projects that address energy, economic and environmental issues at the same time, since these are the core elements of sustainability.
Nothing is wasted when the objectives and the aims are for the good of mankind and the environment. The innovative aspects of the Blue Heart project are still relatively new, and further research is required on its impacts and on its project-making tools. However, this technology could potentially be applied throughout the world. I want to change public perceptions about conservation as something that does not provide financial benefits, and is just for NGOs, governments and agencies that care about the environment. With a social approach to conservation, coastal communities are the key as they are the guardians of the marine eco-system, and it is important that these areas generate economic benefits for them.
With the rapid increase in deforestation and the consumption of hydrocarbon fuels, humans are producing more greenhouse gas emissions than ever before. Meanwhile, a looming power crisis threatens to impact our lives in many ways. Inspired by these pressing problems, my dream is to become a successful eco-techno entrepreneur and help improve the future of our planet. My hope is that on January 1, 2012 I can launch the first generation of Eco-B tinovaG01 — a multipurpose eco-friendly bike that not only serves as a cheap mode of transportation but also as an electric generator that can provide power in emergency situations. The main objective of the Eco-B project is to reduce global warming by reducing CO2 emissions from the transportation sector. My hope is that with the Eco-B tinovaG01, our grandchildren and great grandchildren will no longer need to worry about hydrocarbon fuel-related problems.
My vision is to help improve the welfare of farmers in Sindang Sari village by improving their harvests, the marketing of their products at competitive prices, and providing them with inexpensive seeds and fertilizers. I also aim to provide farmers with information on good financial planning so they will not be burdened by debt because of their consumption patterns.
I believe that to create a green environment all we need is the right attitude: an eco-lifestyle attidute. We need creative campaigns such as the Plastic Bag Diet — an integrated campaign concept including a product and a programme — to improve environmental awareness among our communities.
I aim to increase the added value to the processes of coconut farmers in Indonesia by reducing coconut coir waste through community empowerment. By reusing the coconut husk waste to prevent erosion in disused mining sites, I also want to improve the farmers’ income and help the environment.
